Executive Summary & Key Engineering Takeaways Normative Status: Validated

17-4 PH (1.4542) is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel. Simple single-step aging treatments at 480 - 620 °C precipitate copper clusters, yielding strengths up to 1,350 MPa.

  • Einfache einstufige Wärmebehandlung (H900, H1025, H1150) ohne schroffes Abschrecken minimiert Verzug.

Copper Precipitation Hardening Metallurgy

02

Shielding Gas Selection: Argon vs. Nitrogen

Applications in Motorsport, Offshore and Medical Tools

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
