Topology optimized aluminum drone frame

For a research project we printed this extremely light racing drone frame made of aluminum. Through bionic topology optimization, we were able to increase stiffness while reducing weight by 40% compared to the carbon fiber model. The blue light reflections on the matte silver look incredible!
