New quad laser system (LPBF) put into operation

Our machine park is growing! We installed a new quad laser LPBF system this week. With four 1000-watt lasers working simultaneously on the same component, we were able to reduce our construction time for large-volume stainless steel housings by almost 60%. The stitching zones (where the working areas of the lasers overlap) are completely metallurgically invisible. Great development from the machine manufacturers!
