An incredible sight: We are currently printing a huge structural component made of titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) using the Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) process. The deposition performance and drip control are absolutely fascinating. We are currently evaluating the whole thing for aerospace certification. Does anyone have direct comparisons regarding surface roughness before machining?
