Description

The Meltio Engine Robot Integration expands an industrial robot into a flexible system for wire laser metal 3D printing. The compact, robot-guided print head works with nine blue diode lasers and processes standard welding wire with a diameter of 0.8 to 1.2 mm. In contrast to a closed standard system, the installation space is determined by the range of the robot used, possible linear axes and positioners. This makes the system particularly suitable for large or complex metal components, repairs, coatings, deposition welding and expanding existing components. Typical materials are steel, stainless steel, titanium, nickel and copper alloys.
